Monetate on the move: We’re moving HQ to New York City

It’s official: we’re moving our corporate headquarters to New York City! The move will put us closer to our clients, many of whom are in the retail and fashion industries, and our marketing partner network (including Oracle, IBM, Weblinc, and Magento). Monetate now has offices in New York, Palo Alto, London, and the Philadelphia suburbs in Conshohocken, and has employees spread across the U.S. and Europe.

The headquarters move will help us accelerate the transformation of brand-customer relationships from 1-to-many to 1-to-1. I believe it’s a fundamental shift in how companies need to interact with the public and we intend to be in the middle of it. The middle of it is New York, because that’s the city at the heart of the marketing and advertising world. New York’s dynamism reflects and supports our pace of innovation.

All that said–we love and support Philly and are not leaving.

Philly is in our DNA. We grew up here and deeply appreciate everything special about this place. Philly is real, and its companies provide real value to real clients for real money. There’s not a lot of flash here, but there is a lot of substance. We have benefited from the tech and startup communities’ generous advice and support as we grew from startup into one of the leaders in the region.

Our team is the absolute best, building software that is unparalleled in sophistication, scalability, and reliability, selling that software, and helping clients use it effectively. We couldn’t have found better people anywhere. Our Philly office will continue to be our biggest location, with more than half of our people working there. Our roots here run deep. The strength of that base is irrefutable and absolutely essential as we enter our next phase of growth. The best thing we can do for Philly is make Monetate even more successful, and contribute to the region’s status around the world. We aim to make Philly proud!

Lucinda Duncalfe is CEO of Monetate. A seasoned entrepreneur and innovator, Lucinda has proven experience building mature sales and operations cultures, and developing product strategies that accelerate company growth. She has served on Monetate’s Board of Directors for the past seven years, and helped Monetate create and establish a multi-billion dollar market for digital personalization. 

Lucinda has won many awards including the Eastern Technology Council’s Enterprise Award for CEO of the Year, was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Philadelphia, and was named America’s 17th Most Influential Consultant by Consulting Magazine. She has served on the boards of Semprae Labs, The Montessori School, and the World Affairs Council. Lucinda holds a second-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and is a frequent speaker at industry events.
